First Marble Design

Thanks to Lauren Smith for the idea, and Colette from the blog My Simple Little Pleasures for the great tutorials! This was the most fun I've ever had painting my nails. This technique is known as the marble technique, or the bulls-eye method and is done by dropping nail polish into a cup of water. Check out Colette's tutorials for step-by-step instructions!

Rainbow Dots

This is a time consuming design, but not difficult. White base coat, and rows of colorful dots!

Happy Spring!

This design is super simple. The heart on the thumb nail was done with a blue gel pen, and set in place with a clear top coat.

Flower Power

I used a green base color on the whole nail, then painted the top half in a diagonal with a slightly more teal color. Next I put a bright green dot in the center of the nail, and surrounded it with six dots of pink and orange. Again, you can use toothpicks for this, but I just used the brush.

Rainbow!

I used a white base coat to make the colors show up brighter and then just painted stripes with the brush.

Blue and Green

Very simple design using a blue base coat, and dotting rows of green on top.
You can use a toothpick, but I just used the brush.

Colorful Randomness

No special technique here, just white polish and 5 pretty colors!
